Who qualifies for assistance?

The Foundation seeks to identify and support exceptional teen or young adult students who faced some sort of trauma during their childhood but who are working hard to reach their potential. If you know someone who we could help and you are a school counselor, teacher, therapist or other concerned community member, please reach out!

What kind of assistance is provided?

The Kate Sherwood Foundation aims to help young people reach their true potential through provision of financial support to help pay for: basic human needs such as housing, transportation, medicine, food or utilities; or school or work expenses such as uniforms, tuition, books, technology, camp, school trips or gear, etc.
