Friends - this is Tabitha, a 16-year-old student at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School. We recently met up with her in the Mount Washington neighborhood of Haverhill.
She's a total dynamo. Take a moment and read the letter she sent to us recently.
We're helping her pay for driver's ed and some additional cash to make sure she, her mom, and her siblings are in good shape over the holidays.
Side note: like other students we've met, Tabitha needed to open a bank account. This is easy to do if you have someone to walk you through it. If you don't it's not. Special shout out to Pentucket Bank & their CEO (and The Kate Sherwood Foundation Board member Jonathan Dowst) for extending a special hand to Tabitha and others to help them on the road to fiscal responsibility.
Tabitha - you're an amazing person and we're lucky to know you. Here's to a great 2022!
