Friends: Meet Cassie Galarneau
Cassie is an 18-year-old recent graduate of Londonderry High School and a former student of Kate's. She credits Kate with getting her through high school, providing love, encouragement, accountability and direction. Cassie said Kate was like a mother to her.
Cassie is taking a gap year to explore her career options. She's likely heading into health care or school counseling. Kate would be so proud of the amazing steps she's taking.
The KSF is helping Cassie on her way with a $1,000 scholarship to help pay for her EMT certification, a wonderful step towards her goal of career exploration, income, and helping people.
